Tour Plan
Depart for the Amboseli National Park via the Nairobi-Mombasa Road. The morning drive is via typical African savanna country dotted with local homesteads and colorful Maasai herdsmen grazing their cattle. Arrive in time for lunch and later venture into the park for the scheduled afternoon game viewing drive. You will spot the free-ranging herds of elephants up close in the park – a little wonder why the park is the best place in Africa to spot such herds. It is home to many other species such as the Cape buffalo, Impala, Lion, Cheetah, Spotted hyena, Maasai giraffe, Zebra and Blue wildebeest among other African animals. Birdlife is also abundant, both large and small species. Weather permitting, Amboseli national park offers a beautiful vista of the scenic snow-capped Mt. The Great Rift Valley stretches from the Beqaa Valley in Lebanon which is in Asia to Mozambique in Southeast Africa. It’s a series of contiguous geographic trenches, approximately 6,800 kilometers (4,300 miles) in total length, and much of it is found in Kenya, where it has literally cut the country in two. The shores host abundant birdlife including pelicans, cormorants, and fish-eagles. There are more animals per acre than any other Kenyan Park, hence many film companies have been to the Island to film the herds of Wildebeest, Waterbuck, Zebra, Buffalo and Gazelle.
Optional visit by boat to the hidden gem, Crescent Island Game Sanctuary which is surrounded by water (it is actually a peninsula). Cost $ 60 per person.

It's famous for its spectacular natural diversity of wildlife and happens to be a premier Kenya safari location in East Africa, offering visitors many reasons to visit this animal paradise. Large numbers of Lion, Cheetah, Leopard, Elephant, African Buffalo, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Rhino, Zebra, Gazelle, and many more animals are found in the park in their natural habitat unconfined and free to roam the vast wilderness stretching for miles on end.
